Using the Communication Wizard
Majority of your communications will begin from another screen within Rock, such as a Group or a Report list, where you will click on the "Communicate" button. You will be directed to Rock's Communication Wizard which moves you, step-by-step, through a series of screens.
Screen #1 - Recipient Selection

Recipient Selection - This screen is where you select who will receive your email. When directed to this screen from clicking on |

Screen #2 - Communication Delivery

Communication Name - Name to save the communication under. |

Is The Communication Bulk - Click Yes. This will include the required unsubscribe option in your email. |

Communication Medium - Select Email. (SMS will not be active at roll-out). |

When Should It Be Sent? - Select to send immediately or on a future date & time. |
Screen #3 - Communication Template

Newsletter Default - A blank email with a Grace Church header and footer. |

Staff Communication Template - A blank email with your Grace signature pre-populated. NOTE: Do NOT use when sending an email on behalf of someone else. |
Screen #4 - Email Summary

From Name - Defaults to you name. Can be changed if sending on behalf of someone. |

From Address - Defaults to you name. Can be changed if sending on behalf of someone. |

Attachments - Attach any documents being sent here. You can attach multiple documents. |
Screen #4 - Email Editor
The editor is a drag-and-drop visual composer. To add an element, simply drag it from the buttons bar to where you want it to be in your message. After placing an element, you can edit it by clicking on it. The options associated with that element are displayed on the right side of the screen. Click Complete when you are done editing the section.
At any point, you can send a test email to yourself by clicking the Send Test button. Click Preview to see both desktop and mobile previews of your design.
Screen #5 - Confirmation
If you are ready to send the email, click Submit.
If you are not quite finished click on "Save as Draft" to save the communication and work on it later. Your drafts are located under the People Tab - Communication History.
